Synopsis

A designer is working on his idea, but he doesn’t succeed and becomes disappointed. He crumples the design and throws it into his desk drawer, then moves on to another idea. The design turns into a paper model of the same machine and, while the designer is working on another idea, the machine, starts speeding up and hitting the drawer door to open it. Biography and filmography

Mohammad Yaghoubi is an Iranian filmmaker and stop-motion artist, recognized as one of the youngest stop-motion creators in his country. His work has drawn the attention of some of the world’s most renowned stop-motion artists. "Crumpled" is his first official short film, while his earlier projects have already received awards at various festivals.
