About

Corti a Ponte is an international festival of short films, characterized by an approach devoted to education in film art and the active involvement of the public of all ages and social groups.

CORTI A PONTE IS UNIQUE

The festival is unique in Italy for the presence of a large international section dedicated to children and young people, with projections of short films made by children and young people from all over the world selected for quality and cultural value.

The festival also features two innovative competitions, mainly aimed at young people:

  • Competition 48 hours – it is a challenge: to produce a short film in just 48 hours, on data elements.
  • Soundtrack Competition – the musicians are invited to sound the theme song of the festival, projected each time with a different soundtrack.

CORTI A PONTE AND SCHOOLS

Corti a Ponte collaborates with schools, supporting them in didactic innovation, in the education to the critical use of new technologies and media.
Thanks to the openings to the institutions of the third sector allowed by the reform of the school, today the Festival is officially the Modigliani Art School of Padua and the Comprehensive Institute of Ponte San Nicolò, engaged in the promotion of study, historical-critical knowledge, practice, fruition and conscious exchange of cinema. (D.Lgs.13 / 04/17 No. 60)
From 2018 the collaboration of the MIUR-Territorial Scholastic Office of Padua allowed to reach all the schools of the province.
