Synopsis

Why was the grandfather afraid of water?
This simple and personal question marks the beginning of an intimate and unexpected journey that unfolds entirely on a computer screen. “Waves of Memory” is a desktop documentary that weaves together family memories, archival footage, and personal reflections to tell a true and touching story: that of the director’s grandfather, a survivor of the Vajont disaster in 1963.
