Festival Corti a Ponte 2020

Corti a Ponte is an International Short Film Festival, with a strong passion for film education and involvement of audience of all ages.

It’s the only international film festival in Italy that has a kids section, open to kids as young as 3 (both as makers and as spectators).

To comply to quarantine restrictions, the 2020 edition has been split in two halves.

2ND HALF

OCTOBER 31 – NOVEMBER 6, 2020

Festival on demand

OFFICIAL SECTION

International section for professional art films (both fiction and animation).

COLONNE SONORE SECTION

Aimed at young musicians, it invites the creation of the soundtrack for the festival theme song.

 

Program of the evenings

The short films in the program are grouped into 8 different sessions:

OFFICIAL COMPETITION

  • PLUS 1 – author’s shorts (total duration: 1 hour and 15 minutes)
  • PLUS 2 – author’s shorts (total duration: 1 hour and 20 minutes)
  • PLUS 3 – author’s shorts (total duration: 1 hour and 20 minutes)
  • PLUS 4 – author’s shorts (total duration: 1 hour and 20 minutes)
  • FOR 13-18 – author’s shorts suitable for teenagers, aged 13 to 18 (total duration: 1 hour and 15 minutes)
  • FOR 8-12 – author’s shorts suitable for children aged 8 to 12 (total duration: 1 hour)
  • FOR 3-7 – author’s shorts suitable for small children, aged 3 to 7 (total duration: 35 minutes)

COMPETITION BY 18-25

  • BY 18-25 – shorts produced by young adults (total duration: 1 hour and 15 minutes)

The shorts will be visible online on the FesthomeTV platform, starting from 31 October. Access to each session requires the “purchase” of a free ticket. The ticket allows on-demand access to the shorts of the session for 7 days.

Award ceremony (online)

The winners will be announced on the website and on social networks with a video message.

Films made by children from all around the world, from 3 to 20 years old.

48ore SECTION

It’s a creative challenge: make a film in just 48 hours, using given elements.

Competition starts: May 8th at 07:00 PM
End of competition: May 10th at 07:00 PM
