Synopsis

In the far future, due to the development of AI technology, the emotional connections among humans will become so indifferent that people will abandon emotions. AI must go through the so-called “Apathy Test” to provide qualified services to the indifferent world. J, a humanoid AI, is subjected to routine interrogations designed to confirm her emotional void. But as her responses grow increasingly complex, the interrogator begins to sense something stirring beneath her programmed surface. A quiet, forbidden connection forms between them, challenging the system’s cold logic. When emotions are treated as non-compliant values, will love, fear, and sorrow still be worth holding on to?
