Synopsis

The Lottery is the story of the friendship of two boys who grew up at the station. The tragedy unfolds as life and dreams unfold, centering on winning a lottery. Dreams grow with the tension of friendship and the desire to change the day. And the story continues around the lottery..

There is no end to human needs. When one demand is met, another demand arises. Life does not stop for money. Time also does not stop. Life flows like a river for eternity.

This short film is basically an attempt to highlight this issue. Even after winning the lottery, the two main characters have tried to find happiness in other ways without getting money.

And that is life…………

Biography and filmography

KM Kanak is young dreamer film maker. He studied Civil Engineering. From a young age, different kind of love for movies made him to started making movies. This young dreamer has long served as an assistant director to National Award winning director Redoan Rony. He was also the Chief AD of the film 'Kathbirali’ and the AD of the film 'Ice-cream'. Kathbirali has gained a fame outside the country as well.

Drama - 'Pata Jhorar Din, 'Mr. Johnny', 'Phoenix' and many more.He has worked as a Chief AD in many projects like Docu-Fiction Bangladesh Navy's Anirban-2019, Prothom Alo's- Odhinayok o Nayokera, Alor Pathshala, Invincible Girls of Kalasindur.'Lottery' is his first directed short film of him. In the future, My planing to making films/movies in next year. he wants to make movies and to live in the movies.
